- An Aircraft Registration Inquiry is processed in order to confirm your aircraft make, model and serial number.
- A search query is performed on the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) database to find the aircraft Type Certificate that matches your specific make, model and serial number.
- Data from the Type Certificate is analyzed along with data from the Airplane Flight Manual (AFM) in preparation for the software initialization process. When applicable, usable fuel data is analyzed on aircraft with a variable fuel ARM.
- Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) data is analyzed with requests for gross weight increases beyond factory limitations. STC integrations are free-of-charge if the applicable documentation is provided prior to the software initialization process.
- The verified Type Certificate, AFM and STC data (where applicable) is used to initialize the eFlite aircraft module specific to your order. The typical aircraft module setup process includes setting customer data, maximum takeoff, landing and zero fuel weight limits, forward and aft CG envelope limits, ARM and structural weight limitations for seat, baggage and cargo areas and maximum usable fuel quantities.
- Functionality Tests are performed using one or more simulated flight scenarios to confirm the accuracy of your eFlite aircraft module.
